My name is Shane Love. Christ the King has been home to me my entire life and I am thrilled for that to continue. I am a CTK graduate in 2016. I also attended Holy Ghost Prep (2020) and Holy Family University (2024). Over the last few years, I have been at CTK as an aftercare classroom aide and a volunteer coach. I am very excited to take this next step and begin my first year teaching at Christ the King School. Outside of school, I am a very passionate sports fan rooting for my Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers. I also enjoy being around family and friends, playing video games, and listening to music. This year I will be teaching ELA and Religion for 5th and 6th grade.
My mission for ELA is to instill the important values of writing, reading, and critical thinking. Our classes will explore various topics using novels, short stories, poetry, and digital media. There will also be a strong focus on grammar and writing mechanics. In 6th grade, we will also review strong study habits and skills which will help build strong time management and preparation abilities. My mission for Religion is to nurture the strong Catholic foundation that the school is built on. In 6th grade, we will explore the Bible with a focus on the Old Testament and New Testament. In 5th grade, we will analyze the Seven Sacraments, the Faith’s devotion to Mary, along with many Social Justice topics. Throughout the year, I want to be available to all students and families to ensure that your education is fulfilling and has a strong impact. Please reach out to me at any time @[email protected]
