Makeup, nail polish, large or excessive jewelry are not permitted. (Earrings should be post only - no hoops; 1 pair only. Buttons or pins should not be worn unless they are given through school. A religious medal may be worn. Skirts and jumpers are to be worn no more than 2" above the knee. Skirts may not be rolled at the waist. Shirts are to be tucked in and buttoned.

Gym uniforms are to be worn on the assigned day. CTK team sweatpants as well as hooded sweatshirts may not be worn for gym class. No jewelry is to be worn on gym day.

Hair should be clean at all times. NO extreme hairstyles are permitted. The length of boys hair should not be below the shirt collar and should not cover the eyes. A note signed by a parent is needed if a student in not in full uniform. On special days, students are permitted to come to school without uniforms. However, dress should be in good taste and be appropriate for school. Flip flops or soccer slides are not permitted.
Please call the school if your child is going to be absent. A note explaining why the student was absent must accompany the child when he/she returns to school. It is the student’s responsibility to make up any missed work/test. If the work or test is not made up the grade will result in a 0.
The following Rules are in effect in both rooms all the time:

If a student chooses to break a rule the following consequences will be enforced:
1.Verbal warning
2.Removal of students from others
3.Mark on his/her calendar
4.Parents will be contacted
5.Meeting with Principal
The following procedures are in effect at all times:
1.Students must be on time.
2.The proper heading must be on all loose leaf assignments.
3.Students may only write in Pencil.
4.All assignments handed in must be in cursive.
5.Students will enter and exit rooms quietly.
6.After change of class, NO STUDENT returns to homeroom (effective October).
7.Students are not to touch anything on or near the teachers’ desks.
8.Students are responsible for keeping their desks and the area around their desks clean.
9.Restrooms must be used at recess and lunchtime. In an emergency, a student may ask to be excused.
10.Textbooks/workbooks are to be neatly covered at all times.
11.Students are to remain silent during Channel One.
12.All money handed in must be in an envelope marked with the student’s name, homeroom and what the money is for.
If a rule is broken, the calendar will be marked. Three or more bad behavior marks in a given time period will result in the loss of a trip/assembly and a lowered Behavior Grade. If the offense is serious, a Pink Slip will be issued. Two Pink Slips equals a suspension from school.
