The 8th Grade year at Christ the King School has a few highlights that are specific to the 8th Graders.
We are the leaders of our two big religious presentations each year - The Christmas Story and The Living Stations. It is our honor to tell these holy stories by way of live action for all to experience the Gospel in a different and more personal way.
We are the primary editors of our school yearbook. The memories of our experiences here at CTK are precious to us. It's a great opportunity to share those special times in our school's yearbook.
Our End of the Year activities help to prepare us for the most exciting time of our lives to this point: preparing to leave for high school. We have a special retreat day to reflect on not only our past blessings, but also our future possibilities. We have an 8th Grade Dinner/ Dance or Picnic which gives us an opportunity to spend one last time with each other the week before graduation. Our annual trip to Hershey Park helps us to celebrate the fact that our summer is just about to begin. Our Commencement Mass is our time to praise God for what He's given to us, to ask for guidance for our future in high school, and to congratulate those who've earned some prestigious achievements during the school year.
We pray for all of our parents, grandparents, teachers, and benefactors every day. Please know that your generosity and love for us is greatly appreciated!
