Homework:
Read with your child 20 minutes every night. Homework is due the last day of school each week.
1- ELA - Sentence Building worksheets and Letter Vv and Zz worksheet
3- Math - Lesson 4, 5, and 6 worksheet TEST WILL BE WEDNESDAY

Classwork:
ELA - Letter V and Z will be visiting this week from Letter People Land. We will focus on proper sentence writing skills this week. We will be focusing on sounding out and writing a word for every word we say. We will also continue with story mapping.
Math - We complete chapter 8 on measurement. We will have our test on Wednesday. The children are excited about chapter 9, SHAPES!!
Religion - We will be learning about Mary, the Mother of Jesus during this month. This week we will focus on the words of the Hail Mary and what they mean. We will also learn that Mary is our bridge to Jesus for all of our intentions.
Science - Lizards!!! We will learn some of the basic information about lizards!
Homework is given on a weekly basis. All assignments are included on the weekly letter, which will be in your child's folder on Monday. Homework is fairly routine. It will consist of a Phonics page, a math assignment, and studying sight words/math facts that are in your child's study folder. We will build our homework skills to throughout the year!
