Preparing to receive a Sacrament of the Church is a unique and spiritually enriching experience for a child. During the preparations for and reception of a sacrament, families are blessed with opportunities to affirm and celebrate their Catholic faith.
In the sacrament of Reconciliation, we encounter God’s mercy and forgiveness. Through the elements of contrition, confession, absolution, and penance, students take responsibility for their sins, ask for forgiveness, and become closer to God.
In the sacrament of Eucharist, we encounter the Real Presence of Jesus. By preparing for and receiving the Body of Christ, students take part in the Church’s greatest act of worship.
In the sacrament of Confirmation, we receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit. This sacrament gives our students the strength to live their faith as they become active members of the community.
