The spiritual life of Christ the King School students takes many forms. As written in our Mission Statement, Christ the King School is dedicated to the formation of Catholic youth. It is our goal to encourage our students to thrive as full and practicing members of the Church.
Communal prayer brings our students and teachers together as a community of faith. At Christ the King School, we offer prayers each morning and afternoon, and throughout the year during special seasons and feasts on the Liturgical Calendar.
The mass is a sacred celebration in which we share the Word of God and the Body of Christ. As a school community, we regularly celebrate mass together. Our school year begins with an Opening Mass, and throughout the year, we celebrate at Thanksgiving, during Catholic Schools Week, for Ash Wednesday, and at the end of the school year. Individual classes gather for mass once a month.
Prayer Services are offered during Advent and Lent, and LOC (Living Our Creed) members facilitate services with younger students throughout the school year.
