Student Council is an important part of Christ the King School. Our SC members are dynamic, enthusiastic and committed to CTK. They strive to be active in our school and community.
Meetings are generally held on Tuesdays, approximately every other week. Members are expected to be at each meeting and participate in our Student Council activities and fundraisers throughout the school year.
A Student Council member has made a commitment to our school. The work is important and they must carry through with all of their responsibilities. The qualities necessary for any member of Student Council are:
Leadership skills – You may lead committees and will be a representative for your school.
Creative – You will think of new and exciting activities and fundraisers for the Student Council.
Communicative – You will share ideas with other student council members, your class and all of CTK.
Team player – You will be working with a team to generate ideas and organize events for CTK.
Responsibility – You will be responsible for running activities with other members and you must be reliable.
Commitment – You must carry through with all of your responsibilities as a Student Council member.
