Homework:
Read with your child 20 minutes every night. Homework is due on Friday of each week.

Classwork:
ELA - Review Week!!! We will be using this week to review our letters so far and all of our sight words. We will get new sight words from unit 5 but no new letter. We will focus a lot of our time this week on nouns, adjectives, and adverbs. We will also be focusing on our journal writing skills and how to sound out word when we want to write them down.
Math - Chapter 4 is here!! We will be learning how to make the number 10 and how to break it apart.
Religion - We will finish the chapter on feelings this week. We will make “faces” to tell how we are feeling.
Science - Arctic Friends is coming to a close but not without snow!!!! We will discuss how to stay warm in the snow and how animals stay warm in the snow.
Social Studies - Last week of Women in History!! This week we will learn about Julia Child, Jane Goodall, and Simone Biles.

Our classroom weekly letter will come home on Mondays in our Blue Business Folder. The letter will consist of classroom reminders, the homework assignments, and a summary of what we will be learning in class each week. The weekly letter will also be posted here for easy access.
