She was welcomed into the school and parish with open arms, and her teachers have helped her grow in her education and her faith. "During the summer of 2020, my parents and I spoke on the phone in separate conversations in regards to finding a new school for my children. After those phone calls, I contacted Christ the King and visited the school with my wife and children. It was very clear Christ the King was going to be a new home for my children, Larry and Natalie.
The pandemic understandably brought online learning into my children's lives. Quickly, I knew a decision had to be made to see if an alternative was possible because there was a rapid regression in learning. My wife, Larry, Natalie and I visited Christ the King and could not have been happier with our visit.
Larry and Natalie were thrilled to begin a new journey and be in school for in person learning five days a week. Mr. Tschopp was very kind and caring and wanted the best for my children. Not only have my children enjoyed their experience, their grades improved and their attitude has been very positive.
The means of communication have been very satisfying which is very important. Smaller classrooms have enabled personal growth and learning that was not possible for them at their prior school. My wife and I went to Catholic school as children and realized it was imperative for our children to now have the same education we had as children.
If there is only one positive that came from the pandemic, it is Larry and Natalie have found a home where they can learn and love attending every day. It is very satisfying to see my children happy and enjoying such a wonderful school with tremendous leadership and a wonderful atmosphere to learn.”-Lawrence McGuffin
“We transferred my son into the second grade class at Christ the King this year. He came from a much larger school and CTK has been a very welcome change! It’s a small school with a family feel. The principal and his teacher have been excellent and very responsive to any questions or concerns we have. He’s made some great friends and he loves going to school each day!
As an alumna of Christ the King, I’m thrilled that my son will have the same amazing education that I did. I enjoyed my time there, and the social skills I learned, coupled with the exemplary education I received, have been an extraordinary foundation for me. Both personally and professionally. CTK served me well and I’m confident it will do the same for my son!” -Maureen Hope, CTK class of 1993, Mother of Vincent Tucholski, current 2nd grade student at CTK
